Nipples correction in is carried out in the case of atypical inverted nipples, which do not protrude on the areola, but rather they seem to be pushed back inside the breast. Breast-feeding can be made difficult by this condition and it can get worse. This can affect intimacy and can be socially disturbing.
Inverted nipples can be fixed with a relatively simple surgery treatment by using a technique where milk duct are not affected and simultaneously does not affects breast feeding too. Local anesthesia is recommended, patient can get back to her daily routine within 1 week.
Physical exercise and sudden body movement or lifting must not be undertaken for a minimum of 2 weeks following the surgery.
